Cairnton Aberdeen Angus Steak Celebration

Friday 11th September

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported us on our first ever Steak Celebration evening.  Over 50 guests booked in to sample the local produce on offer, and the response we had from the limited advertising was phenomenal.  It's proof that people do care about what they eat and where their food comes from.

We decorated the conference suite with fancy flowers, tartan table cloths and dim lighting.  We've never seen it look so good.  The overwhelming reaction from guests was extremely positive so we've decided to do it again, possibly once a quarter.  Keep an eye on this site or in local press for the next date.

In celebration of Scottish Food and Drink Fortnight, we're opening our restaurant for one night only, offering a delicious menu featuring an array of quality and fresh produce from the local area.

We'll have the meats laid out for you to view before we cook.  You can choose which type you'd like; Cairnton Aberdeen Angus fillet, sirloin or ribeye steak.  In fact, if you'd like you can choose a little of each, or just one giant steak.  We'll then cook it to your specification as you are enjoying your starter.

Menu

Scotch Broth with seasonal vegetables from Turriff

Summer Isles Smoked Salmon Homemade Pate served with

Duncan's of Deeside Oatcakes

Naturally, we'll have a good selection of beer from Deeside Brewery at the bar for your enjoyment.

Please note that this is a 3 course menu for everyone but the cost of your meal will depend on the size of steak that you select.

Booking is absolutely essential and we will be seating guests from 7pm onwards with last orders at 8.30pm.

The 3 course steak celebration will be priced from £24.50 per person (this is based on a 200g ribeye steak).
