Clay shooting
We shoot in a stunning location, high up over Royal
Deeside with views across the valley, using 20 bore
shotguns, which are lightweight and easier to handle
than the heavier 12 bores. We’ve also got smaller
shotguns so youngsters aged 10 years and up can
have a go too.
Try your skills on our compact sporting layout, with a selection of sporting targets including driven, crossing and going away. Our qualified and experienced instructors, are used to dealing with all kinds of guests, from the complete beginner to experienced shots.
Rifle Target Shooting
Have a shot with our .22 BSA Hornets compressed
air rifles, with both open and telescopic sights.
We shoot at a selection of targets within our purpose
built shooting range, located within a gully at
the edge of our site.
Our indoor activities arena has been completed for some time now, meaning that if the weather is really bad, we can move our shooting range indoors.
Our experienced instructors will ensure that you
get the most out of your session and improve beyond
your imagination, whilst still keeping you safe
and happy. And its suitable for really little ones
so is a great activity to include in your children’s
party.
Archery
Our most ancient and traditional of field sports.
We now boast the only fully automatic archery range
in Europe, and it’s undercover, so is the ideal
wet-weather activity. We have a range of bows to
suit, both right and left handed, traditional recurve
long bows and modern compound bows. There’s no real
age limit for archery as we’ve got bows for really
little children, but equally it’s a great activity
for adults, in fact, two of our best teambuilding
challenges utilise our archery equipment.
Crossbow
A sort of cross between archery and target shooting,
but with very powerful weapons. We utilise our archery
range, and after a safety brief from our instructors,
along with a helpful tip of two, you’ll be surprised
at your own success.
